Milestone : The first one thousand

Woo! Today we hit a nice little milestone in the development of the app, with our 1000th Mail’ette sent! It’s a really exciting and encouraging milestone for all the team here to see this come around so quickly.

To celebrate, we’d like to congratulate our lucky 1000th Mail’ette sender :

Congratulations Dean, you’ve picked up a year’s free premium Mail’ette account as well as a 12 issue subscription from Wired Magazine. That’s twelve of those deliciously papery-smelling issues coming your way, you lucky devil. We’ll be in touch for some details in the next day or so.

I’d also like to give a huge thanks to all of our wonderful beta users, who have been incredibly generous with their time, helping us to refine the app with all your feedback, advice and comments.

Lastly, thanks to the other guys here, Tom and Adam who have worked endless late nights ( in between keeping our design business running ) to get Mail’ette off the ground and moving forward with development. Developing a web application from scratch, along with gathering feedback and acting on it takes a shit-tonne of work, so thanks for all the effort, dudes.

As we near our next release, and the launch of our commenting and approval system, we are feeling confident that we have a really nice little app here, something that can give real value to designers.

When we do finally launch, please know we could not have done it without all of you.
